This Research Assistant supports the UTHealth Houston's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences research project, “¡Iniciando! La Adultez (Launching! To Adulthood): A Cultural and Linguistic Adaptation of a Group Therapy Program for Young Adults with Neurodevelopmental Differences Transitioning to Adulthood." This program focuses on transitioning to adulthood for Spanish-speaking Latino youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
An ideal candidate would be someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills, both written and verbal. They would be comfortable working independently in a remote setting and eager to learn new software and research methodologies. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English), as well as a genuine interest in social science research, particularly in Latino mental health.
This role is a PRN position at 4.5 hours/week.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in lieu of education.
Minimum Experience:
No years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds constantly and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects. This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

Residency Requirement:
