Epigenetic and transcriptional regulation of gynecologic cancers
The St. Laurent Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified Research Associate to join our vibrant research team. Our lab investigates the fundamental mechanisms driving gynecologic cancer development, focusing on the interplay between epigenetic and transcriptional regulatory processes. We employ a multidisciplinary approach, including liquid handling robotics, epigenomics, clinical samples, ex vivo and murine models, cutting-edge sequencing technologies, and bioinformatics. We collaborate extensively with Harvard Medical School, MIT, and international partners. Our goal is to improve patient outcomes by treating and preventing gynecologic cancer. The environment is rigorous and collaborative, fostering passionate individuals making an impact. Research Associates will benefit from mentorship from the Principal Investigator, postdoctoral fellows, and senior clinicians.
We seek individuals with a growth mindset, attention to detail, and collaborative problem-solving skills in preclinical research. The position is ideal for candidates with a solid laboratory background who are adaptable, resourceful, and driven. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact research projects, especially suited for college students graduating in 2025 aspiring to pursue advanced degrees such as PhD, MD, or MD/PhD.
