This position is located at our Scripps Green campus in the Torrey Pines area, Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm. This role is grant funded for 5 years.

The Research Assistant I helps coordinates multiple aspects of clinical trials and other human research ensuring compliance with research protocol and IRB requirements. Manages regulatory documents and data submission, assists with IRB submissions, responsible for keeping internal data tracking systems up to date. Provides superior service to principal investigators and research sponsors within scope of responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required.

  • 1-2 years experience in a research setting.

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office software.

  • Organized and detailed oriented.

  • Strong motivator/communicator in a compact clinical team working with aggressive timelines.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Medical assistant certificate or Certified Nursing assistant preferred, California phlebotomist preferred.

  • 2 years research training.


Bilingual (English/Spanish).
