Clean Creatives is seeking researchers to contribute to the 2025 edition of our premier research report, The F-List. This report documents relationships between fossil fuel companies and advertising and PR firms worldwide, aiming to provide transparency for communications professionals and brands, and to better understand the communications strategies of major polluters.
The 2025 edition aims to present the most current picture of these relationships, with a focus on filling geographic gaps in previous research.
Past editions have garnered wide media coverage, online discussion, and have influenced industry practices. We seek data that can help make news and influence advertising and PR strategies.
We are looking for individual researchers or teams to identify agencies responsible for promoting fossil fuel companies and industry bodies in Sub-Saharan Africa. Candidates should have recent, relevant experience in the regional communications industry.
Particularly, we want to uncover fossil fuel contracts between agencies and oil companies in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, South Africa, and Tanzania. The research should include both local and international fossil fuel companies and trade organizations, from Aiteo to TotalEnergies.
