Job summary

PROLIM is seeking a Research Assistant/Engineer for its client project in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on developing algorithms and data tools, building large, diverse datasets, and collaborating across teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

The candidate will contribute to publications and open-source research and advance AI initiatives from a data perspective, working in a dynamic environment to push the boundaries of machine learning and analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, and data research.
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, STEM, or Computer Science.
• Strong experience with PyTorch and Python for ML tasks.
• Familiarity with cloud clusters.
• Hands-on experience in machine learning/optimization.

• Design and implement new algorithms and functionalities in data tools

• Support innovation in AMI (Artificial Machine Intelligence) from a data perspective

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, and data research
• Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, STEM, or Computer Science
• Strong experience with PyTorch and Python for ML tasks
• Familiarity with cloud clusters
• Hands-on experience in machine learning/optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in core ML theory development
• Prior experience in large-scale applied research environments (shorter ramp-up period)
