Position Summary
The Chen Lab in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is seeking a short-term, non-student hourly employee for the upcoming summer. The lab specializes in characterizing hit compounds identified through high-throughput screening ( HTS ) campaigns, as well as studying HIV -1 resistance-associated mutations (RAMs), utilizing a recently developed HIV -1 infectivity assay.
Applicants with prior experience in the relevant experimental techniques are strongly preferred. The primary responsibilities of the position will include SDS - PAGE and Western blot analysis, as well as high-throughput microscopic image acquisition, stitching, and quantification.
