Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred in biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical procedures involved in execution of experiments (i.e. material synthesis, characterization, animal care/handling).
  • Execute experiments independently, collect data and keep records of experiments, and keep up-to-date with the most recent literature in the field of study.
  • Keep track of inventories of research materials.
  • Write manuscripts and prepare materials for scientific presentations.
