Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a research project support professional to help plan, develop, implement, and evaluate assigned projects. This role blends research management with academic research skills, contingent on extramural funding.

You will contribute to data quality, augmented intelligence workflows, and collaboration with faculty to advance research integrity and reproducibility. Remote or hybrid options may be considered based on project needs and candidate fit.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with at least four years of relevant research experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of scientific principles.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong foundation in classical statistical methods and quantitative analysis
• Experience with data cleaning, data validation, and data management
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and curiosity
• Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Run data quality and integrity tasks including validation and anomaly checks.
• Support development of data-integrity scoring for surveys and behavioral data.
• Contribute to SOPs and workflows for reproducible science.
• Design automated workflows to reduce researcher burden (data processing, QC pipelines).
• Test and refine generative-AI–informed tools for research support.
• Draft templates, protocols, and playbooks for early-career investigators.
• Assist with literature scans, summaries, and manuscript drafting.
• Collaborate with statisticians, programmers, and faculty to refine systems.
• Contribute ideas for new research-support products and services.
