Under the supervision of senior staff, the research assistant will assist in collecting and managing data for a multi-site study aimed at identifying biomarkers and predictors of clinical and behavioral outcomes in individuals at risk for psychosis and psychiatric comparison groups. Responsibilities include data collection at all time points, administering semi-structured clinical interviews and cognitive tasks, collecting biosamples (EEG, MRI, blood samples), and processing blood samples (centrifuging and storing). Blood collection will be performed by a phlebotomist. The research assistant will also support lab operations, such as recruiting participants, managing data, and supervising undergraduate volunteers. Prior experience in a psychological research lab is preferred. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree and at least six (6) months of related experience, including volunteer work. Experience working or volunteering with individuals with mental disorders or vulnerable populations. Familiarity with programs such as SAS, SPSS, R, Qualtrics, Redcap, Python, or STATA. Experience in data management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
