Texas A&M University Health Science Center – College of Pharmacy seeks a Research Assistant in Kingsville, TX to join the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. You will support data collection, analysis, and execution of experiments under supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab protocols, assisting with xenograft mouse work, data reporting, and presenting results at meetings. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment; ability to use standard software related to the position.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform data analysis and data collection following experimental protocols (e.g., cell culture, PCR, ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, mice behavior).
• Maintain mouse colony in the vivarium and assist with xenograft mouse surgeries and related behavioral studies.
• Prepare reports, interpret results, and present conclusions; contribute to posters and presentations.
• Assist PI and lab members; train new personnel; collaborate with students and postdocs.

What You Need to Know**Starting Salary:** $45,000.00**Location:** Kingsville, Texas**Cover Letter & Resume:** A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended **Responsibilities:****Research*** Intensively participates in data analysis and preliminary data collection through accurately following experimental protocols (e.g., cell culture, PCR, ELISA, Western blot, immunohistochemistry, mice behavioral study).* Compiles data files set from research teams.
