Job summary

FWD Clinical Research in South Florida is seeking a detail-oriented clinical research associate to assist Phase II–IV cardiology trials from start-up through close-out. You will recruit, screen, and follow participants, perform ECGs and required blood draws, and ensure accurate data entry into EDC systems.

The role emphasizes strict protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with sponsors, CROs, and clinical staff in a fast-paced multi-specialty setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or equivalent clinical research experience.
• Experience with clinical trial protocols and consent procedures.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is advantageous.

Role Description

Immediate Hire

Assist in Phase II–IV cardiology clinical trials from start-up through close-out, ensuring strict protocol adherence and accurate study execution. Identify, recruit, and screen potential participants through EMR review, conduct study visits, and manage ongoing patient follow-up. Perform ECGs and protocol-required blood draws, enter data accurately and in a timely manner into EDC systems, and respond promptly to sponsor and CRO data queries. Maintain organized, regulatory-compliant, audit-ready study documentation while collaborating effectively with investigators, sponsors, CROs, and clinical staff.

• Knowledge of Informed Consent and Protocol documentation procedures
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field or equivalent clinical research experience
• Previous experience working with diverse therapeutic areas or in a multi-specialty setting is advantageous.
