Summary

The Animal Research Technician Associate is an entry-level position that builds skills in providing husbandry and care to a variety of laboratory animals. The CMC plays a vital role in overseeing and enhancing Moffitt's animal research and technical support. Our Ideal Candidate will have:
• A High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of six (6) years of animal care-related experience, inclusive of two (2) years of direct research animal care experience.
o With an associate degree, a minimum of four (4) years of animal care-related experience is needed, inclusive of two (2) years of direct research animal care experience; with abachelor’s degree, a minimum of two (2) years of animal care-related along with two (2) years direct research animal care.
• The ability to provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed.

Responsibilities:
• As a Sr. ReACT Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper care and maintenance of the animals in our facility.
• We need someone who performs husbandry and health/welfare checks for all species on campus.
