Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of animal care related experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills required.
• Basic knowledge of animal care and handling preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Able to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to move and lift equipment and work around large animals.

Responsabilidades

• Provide husbandry and daily care for laboratory animals per approved protocols.
• Change cages and clean stalls; maintain clean work environments.
• Perform basic health checks and assist with animal handling.
• Prepare and maintain animal caging components for facilities use.
• Work with animals in various housing types (conventional, barrier, barn).
• Assist with routine cleaning duties and equipment operation.
• Occasionally perform euthanasia of rodents as needed.
• Adhere to Purdue policies and safety guidelines; participate in training.
