Description: The Hofstra University Library is pleased to invite applications for the appointment of a tenure-track Research and Learning Services Librarian in the Department of Research and Learning Services. The Librarian in this position provides research and instructional support to students and faculty in a range of subject areas in the Sciences and Social Sciences. This librarian works in collaboration with other library faculty to create, implement, promote, and expand the services and initiatives of the Hofstra University Library.
The Research and Learning Services Librarian initiates and cultivates relationships with faculty, centers, programs, and projects across campus to actively integrate the resources and services of the Library. This Librarian will have knowledge of research methodologies, grant seeking and writing, and new and evolving technologies to a level that will enable them to advance and deepen library research support to faculty and students.

Salary/Salary Range: $80,000-$85,000
Additional Information: Hofstra University provides the above salary as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
