Job summary

Global Medical Device Company is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer for a 12-month contract in Brea, CA. You will contribute to infusion preparation and delivery platform development, focusing on test method development, verification testing and design documentation.

Responsibilities include writing test protocols, validating subsystems, and collaborating with quality, regulatory, manufacturing and marketing teams. A BS in engineering and hands-on lab experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Materials or Biomedical Engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of engineering experience (5 years, or 3 years with an advanced degree, is typical).
• Hands-on work with test protocols, test reports and verification testing.
• Experience with medical device design control and design documentation.
• SolidWorks, Pro/E or another CAD tool.
• Medical device background strongly preferred. Pharma is also considered.
• Startup experience is a plus.
• Willingness to get into the lab and do the work.

Senior R&D Engineer, Medical Device (12-Month Contract) | Brea, CA

We’re hiring 4 Senior R&D Engineers for a global medical device company’s Infusion Preparation and Delivery (IPD) platform. You’ll work in product development on IV infusion sets and connection devices, with a focus on test method development, verification testing and design documentation.

• 12-month contract
• On-site in Brea, CA 4 days a week, with Fridays hybrid

What you’ll do
