Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Research Analyst, who will work on client site with a dynamic team supporting the FBI's National Name Check Program (NNCP). In this role, you will probe Name Check subject identifiers, use your critical and analytic skills to investigate case information, and prepare relevant information to author reports that are sent back to the requesting agency. In addition, you will use your collaborative skills to work among a team to construct Name Check products that will be utilized by Federal agencies prior to bestowing a privilege such as employment, immigration benefit, or access to a secured facility. Ultimately you will support the needs of federal agencies who use the FBI name check information to protect the United States (U.S.) from foreign and domestic threats to national security. Responsibilities:

• Perform research to determine if records exist for the subject in question and search for possible alternate spellings and aliases
• Use the client tracking and communication system to locate and access information in a variety of media, research documents that contain possible references, and discard all references not identifiable with the subject
• Review and edit written documents generated by others, communicate, and work cooperatively among teams
• Perform various administrative tasks as required to include creating written summaries, reports, and maintaining meticulous logs and records
• Bachelor's Degree, or three (3) or more years of experience applying knowledge of administrative principles, practices, and techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior NNCP experience
