Position Overview

Our Research Analyst Contractor will establish connections with U.S. federal legislative offices to obtain weekly updates on staffing changes and contact information. They will maintain a database to ensure clients receive accurate and current information across various products. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

Team Description

Our research team is based in the U.S. and India. The team explores complex data to gather information about government officials, enabling our clients to understand political figures and reach out to influence policy. Our platforms utilize this data to connect U.S. citizens and global companies with their representatives worldwide.

Candidate Profile

You enjoy collaborating with team members, completing projects thoroughly, and making decisions that benefit the team. Effective communication, adaptability, and analytical skills are essential. You should be comfortable working independently with high autonomy and handling ambiguity.

Position Details

This is a contracted role for approximately 6 months (May/June - December 2025), paying $20/hour for about 17 hours weekly on weekdays.

Responsibilities
  1. Weekly in-person visits to Congressional offices for updated staffer info.
  2. Efficiently collect, process, and upload legislator data.
  3. Document work progress in project management tools.
  4. Proactively consult team documentation for guidance.
  5. Coordinate with team members to manage workload.
  6. Seek guidance from senior staff as needed.
  7. Contribute ideas on workflow and data needs.
  8. Collaborate with U.S. and India-based colleagues.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of Congressional office staff structure.
  • Experience with large-scale data entry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines accurately.

Salary range: $20/hour.
