Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company seeks an analytical Research Data Analyst to assist the research team in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and translating data into business insights. Strong SQL and Excel skills are required, with a capacity to learn additional programming languages to support team goals.

Fort Wayne corporate office location with church-related market focus. A Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business or related field plus 1–3 years analytical experience

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or related discipline.
• Must have experience with Excel, SQL, and other programming languages.
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role is desired.
• CPCU, AIDA, or other insurance-related certification is desired.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and use mathematical, statistical, and analytical models to find patterns that may reveal business opportunities.
• Assist the research team in communicating and acting as a liaison between company departments.
• Evaluate accuracy, completeness, and stability of data, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reports and processes.
• Assess, develop, implement and monitor business solutions to meet changing business needs and priorities.
• Organize and store data for future research projects.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
