The role emphasizes deep technical expertise, research engagement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to shape education programs and platform roadmaps.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, or related field, or equivalent research depth.
• 4+ years of research or industry experience with a track record of innovation.
• Deep expertise applying AI including Generative AI to scientific domains.
• Broad foundation to translate AI breakthroughs across Materials Science, Physics, and complex workflows.
• Strong understanding of frontier AI and computational science challenges.
• Hands-on experience building or evaluating AI systems with modern frameworks and APIs.
• Publications or collaborations with academic or national labs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for research labs and accelerate adoption of NVIDIA platforms.
• Identify workloads and integrate NVIDIA frameworks into research projects.
• Map the research ecosystem to inform long-term technology strategies.
• Stay current on research papers and provide direction on collaboration areas.
• Collaborate with Research Account Managers, Solution Architects, and BD teams.
• Foster links with lab personnel and understand research scope.
• Represent researchers' needs and translate feedback into product roadmaps.
