Job summary

Octane Environmental is seeking a Rescue Specialist to join our Biogas/RE division. This hands-on field role identifies hazards, conducts site assessments, delivers safety training, and leads emergency response in industrial and confined spaces.

You'll work on OSHA/ANSI standards, perform equipment inspections, support safe evacuations, and collaborate with site safety teams while maintaining thorough incident records and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years in rescue, industrial safety, or emergency response.
  • CPR, First Aid, and confined space rescue certifications valued.
  • High school diploma required; rescue or safety certifications preferred.
  • Excellent physical fitness for challenging environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork in the field.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

At Octane, Rescue Specialists do more than respond — they prevent. This is a hands-on field role where you'll identify hazards, run site assessments, deliver safety training, and lead emergency response in industrial and confined space environments. You'll work within our Biogas / Renewable Energy (RE) division ensuring every site meets OSHA and ANSI standards — before anything goes wrong.

Core Responsibilities

  • - Participate in ongoing training — advanced rescue and confined space techniques
What We're Looking For
  • - 2–3 years in rescue, industrial safety, or emergency response preferred
