Job summary

Hopes Door is seeking a part-time Resale Store Clerk to support daily operations at the HDNBC Resale shop. The role focuses on assisting customers, donors and clients while maintaining a welcoming store environment and accurate cash handling. You will work under the Resale Store Manager and participate in regular meetings to contribute to store development.

The position requires weekend availability, ability to pass a background check and drug screen, and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of equivalent experience in working in a retail environment.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load, receive and sort donations and prepare merchandise for sales floor.
• Assist customers, donors and clients and ring up purchases.
• Maintain store merchandise and atmosphere; assist with inventory and displays.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures accurately.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and agency to develop the store.
