Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of related management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Educational Leadership experience preferred.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator certificate.
  • Language Skills: Reads, analyzes, and interprets documents; writes speeches and presents to managers and the public.
  • Mathematical Skills: Handling percentages, ratios, and data interpretation.
  • Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems with varied instructions.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.

  • Assists specified content supervisors in developing model lesson plans and curriculum development.
  • Mee ts regularly with building administrators regarding classroom practices and provides ongoing feedback with specified content supervisor.
  • Continues to develop professional expertise through professional readings, training, and conferences.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned.

Job Description

10.5-month District Resource Teacher position. This unique position will support the FDLRS Child Find program by assisting with program implementation, timely reporting, efficient program operations and compliance, and providing technical assistance to staff. This role helps support the identification and evaluation of young children with disabilities. The Resource Teacher, District, will provide technical assistance, curriculum support, and training to school and district staff

QUALIFICATIONS:

Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical Activities: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing.

Lifting Demands: Up to 10 pounds.
