Sylvania is seeking a LEGO Club Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year in Redding, California. The advisor will guide students in building and programming robots using Lego, focusing on STEM education.
This position involves one afternoon meeting per week for 60 minutes, requiring a certified teacher with experience in LEGO robotics. A stipend of $59.00/hour is offered, totaling approximately $1,475.00 based on 20 sessions.

Lego Club is an enriching environment in which students use their building skills to construct Lego animals, machines and robots and then use the computer to animate their actions.
Implement, evaluate and expand the mathematics and science curriculum for students who are interested in learning to build and create robots.
Understand basic robotic vocabulary and formats and be able to troubleshoot programming glitches.
Technical abilities: Experience with Lego We Do is preferred.
Lego Club instructor will follow trends in technology and facilitate a learning environment focused on STEM.
One time meeting for the purpose of End of Year Reflection will be scheduled (see back of this posting).
This club meets one afternoon each week outside of the school day for 60 minutes for grades 3 and 4. (20 sessions with 60 minute instruction and 15 minute prep = 25 paid hrs.) Instructor may not leave until all participants have been picked up by parent/guardian.
$59.00/hr paid upon submission of total hours at completion of club meetings and according to payroll schedule. $1,475.00 BASED ON 20 SESSIONS plus prep.
