Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Alternative work hours may be considered, if applicable.
Wage Rate: $18.00 to $30.75 (Starting wage negotiable based on previous knowledge/experience)
Position Summary: A Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling an array of front-facing duties. Tasks include interacting with customers over the phone or via email while maintaining a high level of professionalism and presenting the organization in the best light.
Essential Job Functions
- Retain knowledge of all product lines and communicate directly with customers and production personnel regarding order processing and customer service.
Your Job Functions Include
- Communicate directly with customers and production personnel.
- Recognize and configure part numbers for both stocked and non-stocked products.
- Accurately enter data using the company’s computer system.
- Receive and process orders from standard inventory or issue to production for manufacturing.
- File and retrieve customer orders and quotes.
- Provide product information to assist with ordering and/or quoting.
- Prepare sale quotations for tools and gages from standard fixed pricing or by material and cost methods.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Respond to and verify customers’ order inquiries—including order quantities, products, pricing, discounts, exceptions, and shipping & delivery information.
- Authorize returned goods and record necessary information for credit or adjustments.
- Enter replacement orders as needed.
- Assist in office duties such as answering the telephone, faxing, scanning, and copying.

Qualifications
- Education: High school education required or an equivalent of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
- Experience / Skills: Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions in the areas of fractions, decimals, and metric, including conversion.
