Job summary

Trinity Health Davenport is seeking a Patient Access Account Specialist for full-time work in a hospital setting. This role focuses on outpatient and inpatient registration, insurance verification, and collecting patient financial liability while ensuring eligibility and compliance.

You will use multiple systems to analyze data, produce reports, and support performance improvement and leadership decisions. Entry-level with 1 year of customer service; 2+ years in registration or verification

• Resolves items & ensures claims are billed accurately. Processes payments timely.

Purpose

Provides patient focused customer service. Performs outpatient & / or inpatient registration & insurance verification functions; collects patient financial liability payments & ensures that patients meet financial requirements including Medicare medical necessity, payer pre-certifications & referrals. Provides general information to hospital users, patients, families & physician offices.
