A leading educational institution is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker for the 2025-2026 school year. SCHOOL SOCIAL WORKER
Duties to Include but are not limited to:
·Participates with interdisciplinary team members in developing and implementing program
policies and procedures and preventing crises
·Assesses the social and emotional needs of patients (students, participants, members)
·Provides direct counseling/social services to students referred by self, faculty, administration
and other school ancillary staff
·Tracks and follows up on all referrals made in and out of school
·Coordinates social work services and patient referrals between the program and other
agencies providing social and educational services in both the school and local community
·Establishes referral network/linkages with outside agencies for both students and parents
·Participates and occasionally presents at teacher meetings, assemblies, etc.
·Serves as an advocate for patients' rights within the school and serves as a mediator between
parents, child and school
·Remains available for crisis intervention social work as the need arises or arranges for such
coverage by emergency social services
·Attends all scheduled clinical meetings (PPT)
·Collaborates with teachers, administration and other staff to address trauma, social justice and equity both in and out of the classroom
·Participates in the planning and implementation of after-school program and activities
·Knowledge of the CPSE/CSE Process preferred
·Performs other related duties, as required
·Bilingual preferred but not required
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker; Requisite Skills: Ability to engage and diffuse crisis situations;
Ability to work effectively with adolescents, families, professionals and other personnel from a wide range of
cultural, social and economic backgrounds.

Effective Date: September 2, 2025
Annual Salary: Per WTA Contract
