Job summary

Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters is seeking pilots to operate as PIC for a dynamic sightseeing tour operation based in Boulder City, NV. The role involves flying Airbus EC130 aircraft on tours to the Grand Canyon area, with a 5/2, 4/3, or 7/7 schedule depending on base and season.

Ideal candidates will hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating, meet minimum medical standards, and have/or be able to obtain required flight hours including cross-country and night time.

Qualifications

• Must hold Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument rating.
• Second class medical minimum.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate as PIC on helicopter tours.
• Provide professional, safe tours for customers.
• Support government/agency air operations as needed.

Looking for skilled pilots to operate as PIC while providing a professional tour for a fast and dynamic operation. Papillon operates Airbus EC130 helicopters from Boulder City and Las Vegas, NV, as well as Grand Canyon West Airport and Grand Canyon National Park Airport, AZ.

Job Requirements:

• Commercial Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating,
• Minimum second class medical,
• 1,000 PIC helicopter flight hours,
• 100 hours of cross-country flight time,
• 25 hours of night cross-country flight time,
• No previous turbine time is required.
• Applicants must be detail oriented and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Applicants will be required to work up to a 14-hour duty day on a 5&2, 4&3, or 7&7 schedule (base dependent).

Our service includes Helicopter Tours throughout the Southwest and other air support for different government agencies. We are also a 145 repair station for Bell and Airbus helicopters.
