Job summary

Maverick Helicopters in Henderson, NV is seeking skilled A&P technicians to perform comprehensive maintenance on our helicopter fleet, including daily scheduled and unscheduled tasks. Candidates should have an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, strong troubleshooting abilities for airframes, engines and electrical systems, and be comfortable documenting work and working as part of a team.

Experience with Airbus EC130 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold FAA A&P certificate with no enforcement actions.
• Ability to perform daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for airframe, engine and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the company fleet.
• Troubleshoot airframe, engine and electrical systems; replace components as needed.
• Document maintenance work accurately and timely per regulations.
• Assist supervisor with other duties; overtime may be required.

Job Details

Job Location: Henderson, NV 89052

Successful candidates will be expected to perform all facets of daily scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company fleet. They will be troubleshooting airframe, engine and electrical system: replacing engines, transmissions and other components as necessary. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Some overtime may be required.

Experience maintaining Airbus EC130 helicopters is preferred.

A good working knowledge of helicopter airframes and engines, as well as advance troubleshooting skills, is expected.

Additional skills and abilities desired:

• Paint application and preparation.
• Sheet metal fabrication and repair
• Carbon fiber and fiberglass composite repair
