Job Summary:

The Reporting Shared Services (RSS) Analyst reports to the Reporting Manager and is responsible for preparing and filing various non-financial reports accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards. The role involves researching impacts of new products and regulations, analyzing data, and providing insights to management. The analyst will also execute controls, monitor data integrity, and create/manage Tableau dashboards with SQL validation, collaborating across teams.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Prepare non-financial reports, including regulatory and risk reports.
  • Investigate errors, perform variance analysis, and recommend procedural improvements.
  • Research reporting requirements and support internal controls enhancements.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding data reported or filed.
  • Assist with finance projects and bank-wide initiatives.
  • Create and validate Tableau dashboards using SQL.
Qualifications:
  • Understanding of non-financial reporting rules, banking products, financial statements, or accounting principles; risk reporting experience is a plus.
  • Experience with large datasets and reporting tools like Tableau, Workiva, Oracle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (PivotTables, Lookups, Nested If).
  • High accuracy in data analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience in financial services or related industry.

The role offers a salary range of $87K - $105K, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including health, retirement, education, and paid leave. The position is based in Jersey City, NJ, with a hybrid work arrangement.
