Job summary

City of Portland seeks a Reporting Services Lead for the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) within the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. The role will drive data standards, reporting processes, and data-driven storytelling for climate investments exceeding $200 million annually.

You will build training, governance, and data products; coordinate with analysts and grantees; and ensure equity is reflected in data and reporting decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data-focused projects and translating business needs into plans for technical staff.
• Ability to design and oversee quantitative and qualitative analyses for decision-makers.
• Familiarity with data governance and data management practices in large organizations.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and translate requirements for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of the PCEF Data Strategy across five focus areas.
• Gather and maintain reporting requirements with funding area teams and analysts.
• Design and deliver reporting training and resources for staff and partners.
• Coordinate external research and evaluation consultants when needed.
• Support the Data Governance Committee and connect governance to day-to-day work.
