Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • 2+ years of data analysis, BI, or operations analytics experience.
  • Experience with warehouse/distribution data and WMS systems is a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas.
  • Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Extract, review, and analyze data from WMS, warehouse automation, and related sources.
  • Develop recurring reports, dashboards, and scorecards for leadership and ops teams.
  • Translate large data sets into concise summaries and actionable insights.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet reporting needs.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses and present findings to senior leadership.

Day Shift 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
Primary Job Responsibility

Create reports, analyze data from the WMS, need to be fully proficient in MS Suite products – especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Reporting Analyst – Warehouse Operations & Automation
Position Summary

The Reporting Analyst will support warehouse operations by analyzing data generated through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), automated material‑handling systems, and other operational technologies. This role will transform complex operational data into clear, actionable insights and reporting for Senior Leadership and key business stakeholders. The Reporting Analyst will monitor warehouse performance, identify trends and opportunities, investigate variances, and develop recurring and ad hoc reports that support business decisions related to demand planning, production scheduling, labor utilization, inventory, throughput, service levels, and operational performance.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a highly automated warehouse environment where data is critical to daily decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extract, review, validate, and analyze data from Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), warehouse automation systems, databases, and other operational data sources.
  • Develop and maintain recurring operational reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics for Senior Leadership and operational teams.
  • Translate large and complex data sets into concise, easy‑to‑understand summaries and actionable business insights.
  • Analyze warehouse performance across areas such as:
  • Throughput and productivity
  • Order volume and fulfillment performance
  • Inventory accuracy and movement
  • Labor utilization and productivity
  • Equipment and automation performance
  • Order cycle times
  • Backlogs and exceptions
  • Service levels and on‑time performance
  • Production and operational capacity
  • Identify trends, anomalies, process gaps, and performance variances and communicate their potential business impact.
  • Partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT, and other departments to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting.
  • Provide data and analysis to support adjustments to business demand, production schedules, staffing requirements, capacity planning, and operational priorities.
  • Investigate discrepancies between planned and actual performance and help identify root causes.
  • Establish and maintain reporting standards to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
  • Automate recurring reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Develop ad hoc analysis and reports in response to operational and leadership requests.
  • Present findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to Senior Leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work with IT, WMS administrators, and system stakeholders to troubleshoot data issues and improve data availability and quality.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, metrics, data sources, calculations, and reporting processes.
  • Support special projects involving warehouse automation, system implementations, process improvements, and operational analytics.
Required or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, Information Systems, Business preferred, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, operations analytics, supply chain analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain data.
  • Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar operational system.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data manipulation, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and identify meaningful trends and relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information to non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced operational environment.
  • Experience working in a highly automated warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS), conveyors, sortation systems, robotics, or other warehouse automation technologies.
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with SQL, database querying, or other data‑analysis tools.
  • Experience integrating or analyzing data from multiple systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP, WMS, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Labor Management Systems (LMS), or transportation systems.
  • Experience developing automated dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of warehouse KPIs, supply chain metrics, production planning, and operational performance management.
  • Experience presenting analytical findings to managers and Senior Leadership.
