Morningstar, Inc. is seeking a recent journalism graduate to join the Editorial Markets team in New York. The role focuses on reporting market trends, stock moves, and data-driven storytelling, with four days in the Park Ave South office each week.
You will write articles based on Morningstar’s research, train in our database, and collaborate with editors to meet deadlines while developing your craft in a fast-paced financial newsroom.

The mission of the Editorial team at Morningstar is to help investors meet their financial goals, and our coverage of investing and the markets is through that lens. That means putting the day-to-day noise of the markets and investing into context while informing investors about the news, trends, and opportunities that are critical to making smart decisions.
Morningstar's Editorial team publishes news about the financial markets and investing trends, along with digestible research content in the form of articles, data visualization, videos, and podcasts. Our articles run primarily on Morningstar.com, which millions of readers visit each month to help make sense of the markets, find investment advice, and manage their finances.
We're looking for a recent college journalism program graduate to play an active role in our coverage and gain experience writing market and investing articles. This is an early career role designed for someone who is interested in gaining experience reporting on financial markets and investing.
This role is based in our Park Ave South office and will require four days a week in office.
