Job summary

Simon & Schuster is seeking a 1st shift Replenisher for our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. You will pick customer orders using an RF device and operate a pallet jack while following supervisor directions.

Responsibilities include performing moves, cycle counts, packing, re-boxing excess stock weekly, and adapting to leads across areas. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand the entire shift, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for the shift.
• Proficient with RF scanners and RF devices.
• Experience with pallet jacks and rider jacks is expected.
• Flexibility to pick replenishment for ASAP orders and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders for Split Case replenishment via supervisor direction.
• Operate pallet jack and rider jack as needed.

Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st shift Replenisher to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will be using RF device and be required to pick customer orders among other duties.

Duties:

• Using RF device, employee will be required to pick customer orders for Split Case replenishment via supervisor's direction
• Use of pallet jack
• Complete work assignments accurately and timely
• Able to operate a rider jack and stacker
• Perform moves, cycle counts, pack out and re-box excess stock weekly
• Able to work independently as well as with other coworkers when needed in specific areas
• Take direction from different leads when working in other areas of split case
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred
• Able to lift 50 lbs. continuously including over head
• Able to stand on feet for entire shift
• Able to use RF scanner
• Experience using pallet jack
• Able to work independently
• Flexible to picking replenishment regarding ASAP orders
• Able to follow all safety policies and procedures
• Able to effectively communicate when needed
• Overtime as needed (both voluntary and mandatory)

Scheduled Work Hours: Monday - Friday 5:00AM - 1:00PM
