Job summary

AP Emissions Technologies, part of Marmon Holdings backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking entry-level General Labor/Machine Operator to join our assembly team in Goldsboro, NC.

The role involves assembling minor products on a workbench or conveyor, performing checks and packaging, and assisting with routine equipment maintenance. We welcome 0-2 years of experience and a reliable, detail‑focused work ethic.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Willing to work at a stationary workbench or conveyor line.

Responsibilities

• Assemble minor products or components on a workbench or conveyor line.
• Perform checks, sorting, packaging, labeling, and basic machine operations.
• Carry out routine equipment adjustments, cleaning, and minor maintenance.
• Move assemblies and machines as needed and assist with floor cleaning.

Common tasks include checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, sniping, tying, or trimming either manually or by machine. Performs basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning. May perform miscellaneous jobs such as moving assemblies/machines or cleaning floors. Typically has 0-2 years of experience and works under close supervision. Typical job titles include: General Labor, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer, Assembler and Line Operator.
