Job summary

Broadcast Music, Inc. seeks an Analyst, Repertoire Quality to ensure the accuracy and completeness of song registrations that drive licensing and royalty distribution.

You will perform QA on registrations, research information from multiple sources, and collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve issues. You will identify trends, investigate conflicts, and help improve processes to prevent recurring problems while building in-depth knowledge of music publishing and copyright

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the music industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with systems, reports, word processors, and spreadsheets is required.

Responsibilities

• Review songs for accuracy and completeness to support licensing and distribution.
• Research and request missing registrations based on prioritization.
• Monitor chart activity and proactively research high‑profile works for BMI’s repertoire.
• Identify trends in registration issues and propose prevention solutions.
• Communicate findings and updates to internal and external customers; update systems accordingly.
