Job summary

CTDI in Rialto, CA is seeking a Tech B to conduct testing, troubleshoot and repair electronic components in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will read schematics, use scopes, generators and volt meters, and ensure quality performance while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• Pass a Technical Aptitude Test as required.
• Strong knowledge of electronics theory and circuit components.
• Proficient with test equipment: oscilloscope, signal generator, voltmeter.
• Soldering and surface-mount techniques; able to desolder.
• Analytical thinking to troubleshoot to the component level.
• Handle hard drives and maintain ESD policy.
• Work autonomously or in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with precise data entry.

A Tech B conducts, maintains, tests and repairs electrical/electronic components.

1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:30PM, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $20.81/hour

Duties And Responsibilities

• Conducts testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components.
• Analyzes issues down to the component level.
• Maintain efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects.

Required Skills And Experience

• Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable.
• Solid understanding of various technology systems and applications, including knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
• Proficient in utilizing test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators and volt meters.
• Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques. Able to perform surface mount technique.
• Utilize analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot down to the component level.
• Handling Hard Drive devices and keeping ESD policy standards.
• Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Proficiency in computer skills required for precise data entry of completed units.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree, equivalent Electronics certification, or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment.
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
• The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary
