Job summary

Bitdeer in Rockdale, TX (ON-SITE) seeks a skilled Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and test electronic components used in mining hardware. You will work on SealMiners PSUs and related boards, fixing defects and sharing knowledge with teammates.

A strong electrical background, precise soldering skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex circuits are essential for success in this hands-on role.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of repair experience.
• Experience soldering precision components and using oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering irons, and hot air stations.
• Strong electrical knowledge and ability to learn advanced circuit board troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, with ownership mindset and a drive to tackle new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair defective hash boards returned by customers and identified through testing.
• Work on SealMiners, Air and Hydro A2 and A3 PSU's for SealMiners.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate failures and help prevent future damage.
• Share repair techniques, troubleshooting tips, and best practices with teammates.
• Maintain and inspect repair equipment, including soldering irons, heat guns, oscilloscopes, and other tools.
• Read circuit diagrams, analyze wiring, and work with ICs and electronic components.
• Take on additional projects and support the team as needed.

What You'll Do

• You'll be working on SealMiners, Air and Hydro A2 and A3, PSU's for SealMiners.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair defective hash boards returned by customers and identified through testing.
• Partner with other departments to investigate failures and help prevent future damage.
• Share repair techniques, troubleshooting tips, and best practices with teammates.
• Maintain and inspect repair equipment, including soldering irons, heat guns, oscilloscopes, and other specialized tools.
• Read circuit diagrams, analyze wiring, and work with ICs, chips, and a variety of electronic components.
• Take on additional projects and support the team as needed.
