Job summary

Kimray, Inc. is seeking a dedicated team member to work with customers and technicians to identify failures in valve products and provide effective solutions. The role includes disassembly, testing, reassembly, and strict attention to quality control.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory accuracy, documenting maintenance records, and adhering to safety policies. A High School Diploma and readiness to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years' experience in related role or industry.
  • Working knowledge of valve operation and maintenance.
  • Kimray product rebuilding training or equivalent.
  • Ability to operate computers, hand trucks, and forklifts.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, test, and reassemble incoming valves and pumps.
  • Inspect and clean incoming parts; build valve packages.
  • Manage inventory by stocking and re-stocking locations.
  • Record customer maintenance details and ensure accuracy.
  • Follow safety policies and participate in proactive teams.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Summary: Works with customers to identify failures in our products and recommends the correct solution to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for the disassembling, testing and reassembling incoming valves and pumps
  • Thoroughly inspects and cleans incoming parts
  • Builds and converts valve packages
  • Reviews, stocks and re-stocks warehouse overflow and default locations - adjusting inventory as needed
  • Receives manufactured and purchased parts into inventory – adjusting inventory as needed
  • Documents all required customer maintenance records
  • May perform general facility maintenance, truck/equipment maintenance, and shipping/receiving duties
  • Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Health Safety and Environmental team member
  • Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
  • Seeking opportunities to add knowledge through the Kimray L&D group, peer group, and direct supervisors
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years' experience
  • Working knowledge and understanding of operational function of valves
  • Kimray product rebuilding and reconditioning training
  • Ability to operate computers, hand trucks, and forklifts
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral or diagram form
  • Must have analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be me mechanically inclined
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean MVR
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
  • Complete assigned Level 1 Training
