Job summary

SPS PoolCare is seeking a Repair Technician I in Texas to perform repairs on client swimming pools and facilities. This role requires interpreting repair manuals, using hand and power tools, and conducting preventive maintenance.

A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with half paid at 60 days and 90 days. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and ideally prior related experience, with a relevant license preferred.

• RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.

• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Sign On Bonus

$1,500 (Half paid out 60 days & 90 days)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating repairs to clients swimming pools.
• Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
• Consults manuals or other resources as needed.
• Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and heating continue operating properly.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical and swimming pool repair.
• Ability to read repair manuals.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in related field preferred.
• RAIL license or equivalent state license preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to carry 50 pounds at a time
