Job summary

Aerzen USA Corp. is seeking a hands-on repair technician to disassemble, diagnose, and repair blowers, compressors, and related Aerzen products. The role requires mechanical aptitude and familiarity with rotating equipment.

All repairs must be performed to Aerzen standards, with attention to safety and documentation. Travel up to 10–20% for training and customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) required.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical/rotating equipment repair.
• Welding and forklift certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressor, and related Aerzen products and diagnose issues.
• Repair/rebuild blowers and related equipment per procedures with accuracy.
• Read diagrams, checklists, and process documentation to document repair work.

What You’ll Do

Disassemble and evaluate incoming blower, compressors and other Aerzen products, diagnose and recommend action, complete machine repairs, prepare reports and communicate actions as needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Equipment Evaluation: Tear down and evaluate incoming equipment to assess damage, diagnose cause of damage, identifies root cause of failure and recommend further actions needed for repair.
• Mechanical Skills: Demonstrate and utilize good mechanical skills, an understanding of rotating equipment and knowledge of proper and safe usage of mechanic’s tools and shop equipment.
• Visual Product & Component Knowledge: Identifies Aerzen products and understands their use for a various customer application.
• Product Assembly: Able to assemble Aerzen Products per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision and quality.
• Repair/Rebuild Blower: 3S - 240S: Performs repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit.
• Repair/Rebuild Blower: HV 10-15: Performs repair/rebuild of Blower using basic rebuild kit.
• Documentation: Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other process documentation to repair per Aerzen standards and customer requirements.
• Reports: Prepare a written repair report to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to customer.

Requirements

Education: A High School Diploma (GED) Required.

Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience, related to mechanical, rotating equipment and/or engineer repair.

Certification(s): Welding Certification (brazing, cutting, welding, plasma) Forklift Certification

Computer Skills: Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet Usage.

Other Skills: Ability to regularly use a forklift, ladder, hand/power tools, digital equipment, welding equipment, hydraulic equipment, refurbishing equipment, calibrating equipment, measuring tools, and pallet jacks.

Salary Description

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
