Job summary

Sol-Ark, LLC is seeking a Repair Technician (assembly) in Allen, TX. Under general supervision, you will analyze, repair, and document products from the Assembly area, focusing on assembly rework.

Responsibilities include board replacements, connectors, wiring repairs, testing, and maintaining organized records. You will work with safety guidelines, follow standardized repair procedures, and communicate with teams to improve defect rates in Assembly.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent to a high school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • 2 years of experience in electronic or low-voltage repair or related work.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems and electronics assemblies.
  • Use of test equipment for continuity, voltage, and functionality verification.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to document repairs clearly in electronic systems.

About the Position

Under general supervision, Repair Technician (assembly) is responsible for analyzing, repairing, and documenting product from the Assembly area. This position focuses on assembly rework.

Responsibilities
  • Repair & Maintenance: Perform board replacements, connector checks, wiring harness repairs on electronic and low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct standard electrical testing on replaced assemblies to verify function and performance.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized workbench and ensure accurate logging of part usage and replacements.
  • Reporting: Document repair results, part replacements, and corrective actions in repair logs or system databases.
  • User Support: Provide feedback to assembly and quality leadership teams to improve defect rates within Assembly.
  • Quality Control: Follow established repair procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Additional Duties: Perform related tasks assigned.
Qualifications
  • Equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Two (2) years of experience in electronic or low-voltage electrical repair or related technical work.
  • Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems and common electronic assemblies.
  • Use of test equipment for continuity, voltage, and functionality verification.
  • Understanding of basic DC circuits and power system principles.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices.
  • Follow standardized repair and reassembly procedures accurately.
  • Document repairs clearly and completely in electronic systems.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift.
  • Capacity to lift, push, or pull up to eighty (80) pounds.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical coursework or certification in electrical or electronic systems.
