Job summary

FISCHER USA, Inc. in Racine, WI is seeking a Spindle Technician to diagnose, repair, and test high-performance spindles. You will build parts to exact specs using technical drawings, operate manual shop equipment, and drive quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in precision machining, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read complex blueprints. German language skills are a plus in a collaborative, growth-focused team.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read complex drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and test precision spindles and related components.
  • Build and assemble parts to exact specifications using drawings and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with speed and accuracy.
  • Operate manual shop equipment (lathes, mills, drills, grinders) to meet tolerances.
  • Maintain safety and quality standards while improving processes.
  • Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and exceed customer expectations.
