RestorationHQ in Arizona is seeking a hands-on drywall technician to join our on-site team. You will perform drywall repair, hanging, taping, finishing, and texture matching for commercial and residential projects.
The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results. You will collaborate with project managers, document progress with photos, and ensure safety standards are followed on every job.

Trade Skills & Scope Execution Perform drywall repair and installation including hanging, taping, and finishing to match existing conditions. Apply all texture types including smooth, knockdown, orange peel, and level 5 smooth finish. Fill and finish ventilation openings, penetrations, and wall or ceiling cut-outs as needed. Paint interior surfaces including walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Install base molding of various types including cove base, rubber base, and wood baseboard.
Communication & Client Interaction Coordinate daily with the Project Manager to communicate job status, unforeseen conditions, and any scope changes in a timely manner. Interact professionally with clients and property occupants on‑site , representing the company with courtesy and professionalism. Obtain a signed Certificate of Satisfaction (COS) upon the completion of each project.
Documentation & Reporting Maintain thorough photo documentation throughout all phases of work. Accurately complete timecards, material receipts, and all job‑related expense records in a timely manner.
Site Standards & Compliance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Adhere to all applicable building codes, company standards, and OSHA safety requirements throughout the duration of every project.
Additional Responsibilities Perform all other duties as assigned in support of team and organizational objectives.
Physical Demands The successful performance of this role requires a moderate to high level of physical activity on a consistent basis. Candidates must be able to endure extended periods of physical labor, including the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. This position also requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, lean, reach, and climb as needed throughout the workday. Frequent use of hands and arms, along with the ability to speak and hear clearly, is essential.
This role additionally requires regular use of a mobile device and demands the following visual capabilities: close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus as conditions require.
