Job summary

Global Compression Services LLC is seeking a Repair Technician to tear down and rebuild a variety of valves and packing cases to meet OEM standards. The role requires reading dial calipers and applying basic machining knowledge while maintaining safety and a clean work area.

You will stand for extended periods, operate a sand blaster, and perform routine shop maintenance. Travel up to 10% may be required as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years mechanical shop/field experience.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Pro-active, able to manage a varied workload with changing priorities.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and employees.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Tear down and inspect a variety of valves and packing cases.
• Be able to read dial calipers.
• Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
• Able to stand and operate a sand blaster.
• Basic machining knowledge.
• Basic shop maintenance and clean up.
• Other duties may be assigned.
