Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Repair Technician Trainer to join our aviation maintenance team. You will repair components per manuals, meet timeframes, manage consumables, and ensure tooling is ready for operation.

You will train others to troubleshoot LRUs, uphold FAA/EASA standards, and drive continuous process improvements to boost productivity and workflow at our Missouri facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination.
• Experience in aviation maintenance preferred.
• Airframe / Powerplant license or certification preferred.
• Repair Technician Trainer requires Level 4 or above on the shop scale.
• Trainer must be knowledgeable, complete work within standard times, and teach troubleshooting.
• Subject to random pre-hire drug testing per FAA and company rules.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Repair components according to applicable Maintenance Manuals, data, and approved data.
• Complete repair work within supervisor-provided timeframes.
• Maintain shop supply discipline and conserve resources efficiently.
• Maintain sufficient consumables to prevent work stoppage.
• Ensure tooling and test equipment are properly maintained, stored, and operational.
• Coordinate tool and equipment requirements with the supervisor.
• Collaborate on process improvement initiatives to improve workflow, increase productivity, and reduce shop flow days.
• Ensure all work complies with Liebherr-Aerospace, customer requirements, FAA, and EASA standards.
• Train others to troubleshoot assigned LRUs as a Repair Technician Trainer.
