Repair TechnicianDepartment: RepairsReports to: Service ManagerThe Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of technology equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.Responsibilities:Diagnose hardware and software issues on a variety of POS technology devices, including computers, monitors, printers, etc.Perform repairs, upgrades, and replacement of components as needed, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.Install and configure operating systems and software applications.Conduct preventative and restorative maintenance and cleaning of equipment to extend its lifespan and prevent future issues.Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality and quality standardsMaintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and service history.Stay current with industry developments, trends, and technologies through continuous learning.Assist with month-end physical inventory count and reconciliation.Other duties as requested by supervisor.Working/Physical Conditions:Environment: Primarily office-based setting with a mix of administrative and hands-on tasks involvingTeam Collaboration: This role involves frequent interaction with multiple departments. Occasional requirements for assisting in other areas as needed to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.Lifting: Must be able to lift and move items up to 60 lbs. regularly, with occasional heavier lifting as required.Active Work: This role involves long periods of standing, walking, bending, and moving items throughout the office and warehouse.Expected Work Schedule: Regular business hours, with occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects.**Note: ** The above job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
