Qualifications

  • Experience servicing ATMs or similar money handling machines is a plus.

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 / hour

ROLE PURPOSE

The Repair Technician is responsible for restoring returned products to a serviceable condition through cleaning, repairing, testing, and evaluating electronic and mechanical components, following standard procedures and analyzing data to determine solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of returned products using required equipment and fixtures.
  • Identify failures and repair products efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to quality standards and returning products to stock.
  • Accurately record repair data in company systems.
  • Monitor and communicate needs for supplies, tools, and other resources to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Follow established procedures and policies.
  • Support overall business objectives through various tasks.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and communicate them.
  • Complete assigned special projects.
  • Assist with material handling and inventory control as needed.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate degree (A. A.) in Electromechanics or related field, or 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • 1-2 years of experience in electronic and/or mechanical repair.
  • Experience servicing Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) or similar money handling machines is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with basic repair tools.
  • Ability to follow procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated competency in primary repair within 6 months.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, conscientious, and responsive.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Diligence and willingness to work extra hours if needed.
  • Understanding of diversity and fostering an inclusive work environment.
