Job summary

Sturtevant's in Bellevue, WA, is seeking a Repair Tech to tune and repair skis and snowboards, providing best-in-class service to guests. You’ll sharpen edges, wax, mount bindings, and perform various repairs with attention to quality and safety.

You’ll work with a passionate team, receive hands-on training, and enjoy benefits like an employee ski pass and discounts, plus opportunities for growth within a collaborative outdoor lifestyle company.

Qualifications

• Strong ski or snowboard background and a love for the sport.
• Self-motivated, able to multitask, and detail oriented.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with guests by providing accurate information and excellent service.
• Assess when skis or snowboards need tuning or repair and recommend the best service option.
• Perform ski and snowboard tuning: sharpening, waxing, mounting, drilling, and more.
• Maintain accurate pricing and ensure promotions are up to date.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and operating safely.
• Follow all safety standards and procedures in the repair shop.
• Monitor inventory and stay on top of industry trends and technology.
• Support teammates and pitch in with other duties as needed.

Summary Description : As a Repair Technician, you’ll make sure our guests are set up with perfectly tuned equipment so they can enjoy the mountain to the fullest. From sharpening edges and waxing skis to handling complex repairs, you’ll use your technical skills, product knowledge, and passion for snow sports to deliver best-in-class service and keep our guests coming back.

What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Planning Your Next Powder Day):

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

$20-$25/hour + Commission. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
