Job summary

Christy Sports in Utah seeks a Repair Technician to tune, repair and service ski and snowboard equipment, delivering expert assistance and great customer experiences on the floor and in the workshop.

You will assess equipment needs, perform tuning/sharpening/waxing/mounting, maintain accurate pricing, and keep the workspace safe and organized. Training and mentorship are available in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Strong ski or snowboard background
• Self-motivated, able to multitask and detail oriented
• Comfortable with POS systems
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Eagerness to learn; training available for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute ski and snowboard tuning, sharpening, waxing, mounting, drilling, and other repairs
• Assess when equipment needs service and recommend best options
• Maintain accurate pricing and ensure promotions are up to date
• Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe; follow safety standards
• Monitor inventory and stay updated on industry trends and technology
• Support teammates and assist with other duties as needed

Description As a Repair Technician youll make sure our guests are set up with perfectly tuned equipment so they can enjoy the mountain to the fullest From sharpening edges and waxing skis to handling complex repairs youll use your technical skills product knowledge and passion for snow sports to deliver best in class service and keep our guests coming back

What Youll Be Doing

Besides Planning Your Next Powder Day Build trust with guests by providing accurate information and excellent serviceAssess when skis or snowboards need tuning or repair and recommend the best service optionPerform ski and snowboard tuning sharpening waxing mounting drilling and moreMaintain accurate pricing and ensure promotions are up to dateKeep the workshop clean organized and operating safelyFollow all Christy Sports safety standards and procedures in the repair shopMonitor inventory and stay on top of industry trends and technologySupport teammates and pitch in with other duties as needed

What Makes You a Fit

• Strong ski or snowboard background and a love for the sport
