Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Greenwood, IN is seeking a Repair Tech 1 to perform repair, replacement and service work on company products following prescribed procedures. The role requires reading repair orders and parts schematics, locating parts, and ensuring quality and safety.

• Work from parts sheets and specifications.
• Under supervision, advise on warranty liability and repair issues.
• Maintain quality, safety and housekeeping in the area.

You’ll Be DISRUPTIVE Through These Duties And Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend repair order information and parts schematics.
• Complete the information on the repair order form
• Work involves locating replacement products in accordance with work instructions.
• Make decisions in accordance to work instructions
• Recognize and report operational irregularities and defective materials.
• Work from parts sheets, specifications and work instructions.
• Under supervision make recommendations as to warranty liability and any unusual repair problems.
• Work is subject to in-process and final inspection.
• Responsible for quality of work, safety and housekeeping in assigned area.
• Be a Milwaukee Tool culture champion by handling tasks as assigned, including working on different processes and departments as needed.

The TOOLS You’ll Bring With You

Internal Qualifications

• No final warnings
• No more than 6 attendance points
• Efficiency and Quality goal met for previous 3 months
• Must be in current role for 6+ months
• Must meet all job description requirements.
